Preventive maintenance means management of operating time, very early preparation of operations to have the necessary resources at time t, whether they are spare parts, teams and technical resources. Preventive maintenance is restrictive, it requires and justifies a lot of exchange between the installations, technical management and economic management of the project. It may seem to lack results in the short term but will always pay off in the long term.
Should we therefore follow the schedule of the manufacturer of the equipment concerned to the letter: the debate is open. It is clear that the maintenance manuals of the various equipment have gradually lost their technicality with a clear commercial orientation. Safe but also commercial.
